We had a fun day planned for Jaden. Grandpa and Grandma helped celebrate by taking Jaden and I to the Clark Planetarium. I love that place so I decided to take Jaden to another 3D movie. I like watching those, so we picked a BUGS LIFE. It was a great movie on the life of different bugs. It was soo cool to see a caterpillar up close to your face.Their little feet look like sticky sponges as they inch up a tree limb. We saw soo many bugs and spiders up close. Joel's family also joined up with us for the movie so, he got to hang out with the girls that are his age. I forgot Jaden didn't like spiders. Everytime a bug would appear to his face he would scream out loud I had to keep telling him to be quiet. We however all enjoyed the movie and had a great time.
Afterwards we all headed to our place for cake and ice cream and opening presents. Jaden all day couldn't stand having to wait for the time to open presents. Jaden got alot of great stuff!!. Joel and I gave him transformers and two games to play. Jaden also got clothes and more transformers of course with other great things. I had ordered him a bakugan cake from Wal Mart. It was a pretty cake and he enjoyed it.
It soo hard to believe my son is 8 years old. I know now why soo many people have more than one child because they have a hard time with their kids growing up. I do especially it seems like only yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital.

IT'S VALENTINES DAY!!
This morning I woke up early before anyone was awake. I wanted to surprise Joel and Jaden with a Valentine Breakfast. I used my heart shaped cookie cutter and put it into the pan and poured my pancake batter into it. The cookie cutter made the perfect heart shape I was looking for. I had the table set and everything and woke the two boys up for breakfast. They were both surprised and Jaden was excited about the pancakes that he kept talking about them all day.
That afternoon I decided to make sugar cookies for my mom and dad for Valentines. I always have memories of my mom making heart shaped cookies for Valentines. So, I thought I would make us some this year. I decorated them with red hots just like when I was little. I can't believe how big the cookies turned out. Joel helped me so, that probably answered my question he cut the dough thick. The cookies were really good and turned out fine. The best part was everyone enjoyed them and mom said they were the best sugar cookies she had.

Over the Super Bowl weekend My family all got together and had a party!!!! I'm big on parties with who ever and where ever I'm there. This was a great party though with family. I was surprised to see my sister when she opened the door. It has been a while since I saw her and "OHhhh" that sweet baby. My Grandma Christiansen stopped by as well as my uncle. It was all fun to be with family and most of all eat. What's more fun with a party than eating which, we do alot. I had fun playing Beatles rockband with my brother and sister it was a lot of fun. I hope we'll be able to do it again sometime.
This is a picture of the first SnOw FaLL of the winter. Joel, Jaden, and I went up to the park and had some fun in the snow!! Everyone was out with their sleds, but we decided to do it another day. Might as well enjoy Utah while we live here!!!
Joel and I enjoying the cold air and having fun together!
We were sealed for all time and eternity on the 9th of September 2002 in the Salt Lake Temple. We also sealed our son Jaden. Jaden is the joy of our life and always keeps Joel and I on our toes. Although Joel and I can't have any other children biologically we haven't given up on the idea of adoption and Jaden can't wait for that day either when he will finally say "I have a Friend to play with."
